UCEA Facts and Figures Briefings Spring 2010: 
 

To assist HEIs contextualise the excellent pay and conditions packages offered by the sector, we have updated our facts and figures briefing document. Now available as two individual documents, these are:

1.   Facts and Figures - HE staffing - Spring 2010

which focuses on the numbers of employees in HE, the growth of staff numbers to meet student needs, HE staff turnover and the benefits of working in HE.

and 

2.   Facts and Figures - Pay - Spring 2010  

which contextualises HE pay rises with other public service roles, the competative salaries achieved by both academic and support staff in HE, the above inflation pay rises in the sector since 2002 which also places the lowest paid well above the minimum wage.
