Seminars and Events in 2011
UCEA offers a comprehensive and constantly updated training and events programme that ranges from small interactive workshops to conferences on a range of employment related issues, delivered by professionals with in-depth sector knowledge. UCEA events offer great opportunities for HEI colleagues to come together, network and share ideas about topical issues affecting HE.
This year we present a new series of short and focussed seminars delivered under the banner of Workforce strategies for difficult times, designed to help HEIs move forward on workforce issues. Themes covered in the series include reward, engagement and motivation, contractual flexibility, performance and managing an ageing workforce. These interactive seminars will incorporate learning from both outside and within the sector.
We are holding our member prices for events in the 2011 – 12 programme.
We can also tailor courses for an HEI to meet your specific needs, delivered on your premises or on a shared basis with other institutions. Events in development for 2012 will cover the following subjects: The Equality Act, managing challenging industrial relations and disputes, reward, recruitment and selection, pensions – auto enrolment and annual schemes updates, media training, the Points Based System, equal pay, employment law update for senior managers, shared services, outsourcing and TUPE, workforce data and equality monitoring, engagement and motivation, health and safety.
