Engagement and Wellbeing Network

UCEA coordinates a network on employee engagement and wellbeing for the HE Sector.

The network is made up of professionals with responsibility for employee engagement and/or wellbeing at their institution. The network includes professionals working in HE institutions in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Organisational Development, and Health, Safety and Wellbeing.

The aims of the network are to facilitate:

  • discussion of areas of mutual interest in relation to employee engagement and wellbeing
  • the exchange of information, practice, experience and research related to employee engagement and wellbeing
  • sharing of updates and intelligence from experts on engagement and wellbeing, both from within and beyond the HE sector
  • opportunities for networking with representatives from other HEIs working on this agenda
  • opportunities for collaborative working between interested institutions, where appropriate

The network runs mainly on a virtual basis. Members can use the email network to pose queries, seek feedback and share experience.

However, UCEA coordinates 2 meetings a year, usually held in central London. Spaces at meetings are limited due to room capacity and to facilitate discussion, and are allocated on a first come first served basis.

If you are interested in joining the network, please contact Nicola Carter.
