Shadow Board & Sub-Committees

The Local Government Pension Scheme Advisory Board is a body set up under the Pubic Service Pensions Act 2013. The purpose of the Board is to encourage best practice, increase transparency and coordinate technical and standards issues. The Board will work with the Department of Communities and Local Government and will have a liaison role with the Pensions Regulator.

The Shadow Board has been set up in pilot form in order to test the format, terms of reference, membership and sub-committees prior to the formalisation of these items in the LGPS Regulations.
