Employers Pensions Forum website launched

The Employers Pensions Forum (EPF) website has been launched today to provide a source of information on HE pensions strategy for both employers and employees in the sector. The EPF was established by UCEA with UUK and GuildHE in 2007 to as a broad based forum for HEIs to discuss current and longer term pensions issues.

The launch has been made possible with the financial support of the HEFCE Leadership, Management and Governance Fund and the Scottish Funding Council.

EPF Chair, Professor Sir William Wakeham said:

"Given the immense importance and interest in Pensions schemes from both employers and employees we have designed the website to provide a point of reference for HEIs to access the latest information on the pension schemes which are offered to their staff. The website will share latest news on individual schemes and the HEI zone provides a repository for the latest information for senior managers, Governors, HR and pensions staff in HEIs. Employees in HEIs will also find the site a useful gateway to find out more about the scheme to which they belong."
