It was UCEA’s annual event that brings together HR and communications specialists from HEIs to examine combinations of communications challenges surrounding pensions, pay, staff disputes and the use of different media platforms to deliver key messages. It took place against a background of on-going change in employment issues including the start of the auto enrolment of the UK workforce into workplace pensions, changes to pension benefits and trade union campaigns relating to pay and pensions issues.
