The increasingly critical role played by people in delivering value within UK universities and colleges requires the HR function to deliver a more strategic, proactive and business partnership role.

UCEA is delighted to announce a new event series entitled Business driven HR: delivering strategic impact aimed at providing HR Directors and other senior colleagues with the tools and techniques for maximising their presence, influence, effectiveness and contribution to organisational strategy.

The event series will be delivered by CIPD trainers with expertise in this field.

Themes and dates

Putting HR at the centre of organisational strategy

This plenary event will cover the background knowledge and insights required for a broad understanding of the theme, illustrated with generic case study material and shared learning among participants.

The in-depth workshop will be designed for those who then wish to focus on application and implementation at their own institution.

It is not necessary to commit to attendance at both elements, as they are each designed to be self-standing, but priority bookings for the workshop will be given to those who have attended this plenary event.
