UCEA Research note on incremental progression

This paper provides a review and analysis of incremental progression in HE. The paper also provides a review of pay progression developments in the NHS, FE, local government, school teachers, civil service and the police service.

JNCHES guidance on pay progression and contribution-related pay

This Guidance for higher education institutions and their staff was developed in 2004 in partnership between employers’ and trade unions’ representatives within the Joint Negotiating Committee for Higher Education Staff (JNCHES) in order to assist in the development of good practice in the area of pay progression and contribution-related pay, in accordance with the terms of the Framework Agreement for the Modernisation of Pay Structures (July 2003).
