Immigration HR network meeting (morning)

The next UCEA Immigration HR network meeting will be taking place in London on the morning of Tuesday 5 March.

The meeting is very informal and is intended to provide an opportunity for HR specialists to share good practice and resolve problems.

The agenda will include:
  • an update from Universities UK on key immigration issues for HEIs including Brexit and No Deal planning, the Immigration Bill and Immigration White Paper
  • a speaker from Mills and Reeve on immigration post-Brexit and the employment implications
  • an update from Graeme Ross on key immigration issues
  • Matthew Porter from the Home Office.

The meeting will commence at 10.30am with coffee available from 10.00 am and will run until a networking lunch at approximately 12.30 pm.

Colleagues from the afternoon will be invited to attend lunch enabling attendees from both the morning and afternoon meetings to network.

Because of the significant issues around Brexit planning these meetings have been moved to a larger room. This will enable us to accommodate up to 40 people per meeting, though attendance will still be on a first come first served basis. For these meetings attendance has been increased to a maximum of two attendees per institution.

Price and booking processes:

£50 per place

Places will be limited in the first instance to two people per UCEA member institution. We operate a waiting list system with priority to those who miss out on the first come first served booking system and then for those who have requested places for more than one attendee per institution. We would therefore ask that you let us know as far in advance as possible if you have a confirmed place that you will not be taking up, we can then release places to those on the waiting list.

Book a place(s) via the online booking form.
