Jane Booth

Having held key leadership positions at the BBC, PWC, Adelaide City Council and SA Health, Jane has a wide knowledge of talent strategy, an international perspective on people development and leadership, and a proven track record in delivering transformation in challenging environments. 
Jane’s currently bringing a ‘people first’ approach to the people team at the University of South Australia (UniSA). With 6,000 staff and 35,000 students at one of Australia’s youngest universities, a strong growth orientation is the hallmark of the team’s approach. As the University contemplates significant transformation under its new strategic plan Enterprise 25, the team are also transitioning to a new service delivery model. Currently a member of the AHEIA Executive Committee, Jane was previously a governor at Staffordshire University in the UK. 


Jane will be contributing to the closing plenary session Conference reflections on the HR leadership challenges on Wednesday 10 July. She will be joined by Dr Thomas Chase, Provost and Vice-President (Academic), University of Regina and Chair, CAUBO/FBS Management CommitteeAlison Johns, Chief Executive, Advance HE and Dr Daniel J. Julius, Provost and Senior Vice President, New Jersey City University. The session is chaired by Dr Linda Holbeche.


Each of the contributors will give their closing thoughts on the issues raised over the two days.
