FIT Remuneration Consultants LLP jointly hosted this webinar with UCEA on the decision-making process for Remuneration Committees responsible for the pay of the most senior staff.
The webinar was free of charge to UCEA member institutions. The webinar ran on Friday 18 October.
This webinar took participants through the principles of how to ‘get it right’ on senior pay determination, including the process for setting objectives and the challenges that remuneration committees face.
Following a brief context-setting introduction by UCEA, the session covered the ‘nuts and bolts’ of the remuneration committee such as the terms of reference and the annual timetable as well as the different roles of the remuneration committee members and advisers. The webinar also looked at developing principles and a pay framework for senior staff and communicating pay in annual reports.
The webinar is aimed at HR Directors and Heads of Governance who serve as Secretary to the Senior Remuneration Committee and the Chairs of such committees.
