UCEA Annual Conference on Clinical Academic staff: Strategic issues – Tuesday 3 February, Central London
This one-day, in-person conference in central London on Tuesday 3 February is designed for HEI and NHS colleagues responsible for policy and practice around the employment of clinical academic staff.
Tailored for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) that employ healthcare academics and collaborate closely with NHS Trusts. It explores key employment issues arising from joint working arrangements, including contracts, governance, and the complexities of managing staff across HE and NHS systems. The sessions will offer strategic and practical guidance on navigating differing employment frameworks, ensuring compliance, and supporting effective partnership working.

Who should attend
Senior HR professionals, Deans and senior leaders from medical, dental, and healthcare sciences schools are all welcome to attend, given the strategic importance of these employment arrangements.

Until 5.00 pm on Tuesday 20 January a special early-bird price of £425 (VAT free) is available for UCEA members. The standard UCEA member attendee price is £449 (VAT free) per place.
