We are happy to confirm our next Clinical Academic HR Network Meeting.
Dates, times and agenda
Aimed for operational HR specialists working in medical and dental schools. This Network meeting will take place on Wednesday 26 November and will commence at 11.00 am and run for approximately an hour until 12.00 pm.Agenda items are still being finalised but are likely to include the following issues:
- A chance for attendees to share queries and approaches to clinical academic issues locally – please come prepared to ask and share!
- Implementation of the amended clinical academic consultant contract (England)
- An update on pay awards across the nations
- Difficulties in employing clinical academics
- Employment issues for clinical academic GPs
- Pensions issues.
Who should attend, attendance fee and how to book
UCEA member HEIs can benefit from the fee of £49 (VAT free). To ensure that as many member HEIs as possible can participate while still allowing for effective discussions, attendance is capped at 80 and each HEI can book up to three places.
All bookings must have the delegate's full name, job title and HE organisation name.

The CAHRN meetings are among our most popular events, so priority on the waiting list will be given to HEIs who do not yet have representation. Please note that we do not make audio recordings of UCEA Network meetings.
You can easily pay online with a credit card or choose to be invoiced. Our streamlined booking system makes it simple, indicating the fee as £49 (VAT free). The invoice option will show the ticket price as £0, but you will be invoiced for £49.
