Event Overview

What to expect?
The programme will include presentations on what the research tells us, refer to real-life case studies from within and outside the HE sector and to share approaches taken by employers, and provide opportunities for participants to discuss the implications of what they have heard for their own organisations.

Programme content

We will explore the dynamics of understanding and managing an age-diverse workforce. While the term "intergenerational differences" is often used, we will focus on the broader concept of managing preferences, behaviours, and expectations across different age groups.  This event will provide valuable strategies for employers to reconcile varying preferences within their teams and foster a collaborative and understanding work environment and will cover the key policy areas that employers should consider when managing an age-diverse workforce.
