Aimed at HR professionals, managers and others responsible for staff mediation in HEIs this workshop on Wednesday 7 and Wednesday 14 May 2025 is designed to give attendees a grounding in the knowledge and skills needed to intervene effectively when conflict develops, and to conduct a mediated intervention in the most commonly experienced work scenarios.
The workshop is split over two half-days and is delivered via Zoom using a mixture of plenary, breakout sessions and role plays to provide an opportunity to put the theory into practice. It is aimed at those who have had no formal training in mediation skills or conflict management or those who have previously received training and are seeking a refresher course that incorporates pointers and tips on mediating in an online environment.
The workshop leader has extensive experience in delivering certificated mediation training in mediation skills within the HE sector and has consistently received excellent feedback from previous participants. She mediates regularly for HEIs across the UK.
The workshop will be delivered in two, three-hour sessions taking place between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm on Wednesday 7 and Wednesday 14 May 2025.
Individual attendees need to attend both half-day sessions over the two days to reap the full benefit of attending.
