About UCEAUCEA - the Universities and Colleges Employers Association - provides members with timely advice and guidance on employment matters pivotal to the higher education sector.

As a membership organisation our mission is to represent, negotiate for, and promote the interests of UK HEIs as employers to all stakeholders. To do this effectively we aim to anticipate the challenges of changing times, working jointly with key sector groups. Our membership across the UK’s diverse higher education sector means we are well networked, well informed and influential.

In addition to our research and information, UCEA also provides seminars, training and networking events which draw on the expertise of HR, legal and many other professionals. We lobby statutory and other bodies, and we negotiate and work with trade unions. We consult members across the four UK jurisdictions, to offer services that match your specific and changing needs.
