Roshan has undertaken extensive consultations and negotiations with various local, regional and national trade unions; significant negotiations include changes to terms and conditions, changes to role boundaries, the meal breaks issue and a workload priorities agreement. Sue Endean, who has been Deputy Chief Executive since 2014, will be retiring on Friday 4 August.
Helen Fairfoul, UCEA’s Chief Executive commented:
“I very much looking forward to working with Roshan; her skills and her experience gained in a variety of sectors will undoubtedly help UCEA take forward its work during these times of challenge and change. It is however with sadness for all at UCEA that we say goodbye to Sue Endean. Sue has worked tirelessly for UCEA and its members over the last four years and will be missed by us all. We wish her the very best for her retirement.”
